Agency Administrator (AA) Webinar
Some HMIS users have accounts set up with the “Agency Administrator” (AA) role. They have increased tools and access but also additional training needs, including the Monthly Agency Administrator Training webinar.
Our monthly, mandatory, webinar helps your agencies get the most out of HMIS through direct, meaningful content around a variety of topics including reporting, data quality, and changes to workflows.

BOS Coordinated Entry
Case Management Training
The Case Management Series covers items such as creating case goals, recording case notes, entering services, or sending referrals for clients. This course will teach users how to leverage HMIS for the purpose of case management.
Coordinated Entry Training
This training covers all data entry requirements for coordinated entry and is relevant to users from Maricopa and the Balance of State. It covers multiple workflows including data entry for coordinated entry and housing providers responding to referrals. The link will guide you through which videos to watch. Simply click “yes” or “no” for the questions as applicable.
Users who should complete this training:
- Any user who enters data in HMIS for a Coordinated Entry Point/Program
- Any Maricopa user who will be recording vacancies for a housing program
- Any Maricopa user who enters data in HMIS for a housing program
- Any Balance of State user who enters data in HMIS for a housing program that is funded by Arizona Complete Health
HMIS Introductory Training
The HMIS Introductory Series is the basic course every HMIS user is required to participate in to gain access to the ServicePoint system. This covers the essentials, such as login, searching for clients and entering client data and information.
HOPWA Training
The HOPWA Training covers programs that are funded by the Housing Opportunities for Persons With AIDS grant. This course will cover how to enter the client into HMIS, enter client information, and discuss grant specific data elements.
Outreach Training
The Outreach Training covers programs that perform street outreach. This course will cover how to enter the client into HMIS, enter client information, and discuss the concepts of Contacts, Engagement and Geolocation of services.
PATH Training
PATH Training covers programs that are funded by the Projects for Assistance in Transition from Homelessness grant. This course will cover how to enter the client into HMIS, enter client information, and discuss grant specific data elements.
RHY Training
The RHY Training covers programs that are funded by the Health and Human Services (HHS) Runaway and Homeless Youth Grant Program (RHY). This course will cover how to enter the client into HMIS, enter client information, and discuss grant specific data elements.
SAPBO Training
ShelterPoint Training
The ShelterPoint training covers how to enter and exit clients from the ShelterPoint module. Users will be able to locate the module, enter clients, exit clients, and perform basic ShelterPoint functions after viewing the video.
SSVF Training
The SSVF Training covers programs that are funded by the US Department of Veteran Affairs (VA) Supportive Services for Veteran Families (SSVF) grant. This course will cover how to enter the client into HMIS, enter client information, and discuss grant specific data elements.
